This project is the exploration of current mayors in Europe with Wikidata and Python. The interactive data visualization is done with deck.gl.
You can navigate the map with the cursor and rotate the map with pressed CTRL (or Command) key. Each arc represents the birthplace (gray) to the city they are mayor in (color) and the points represent mayors which are born in the same city where they hold their position. Colors are used as a distinction between countries.
